The Invisible Man is always naked, which makes him extremely visible in my imagination. Invisible Guy is my chance to show something you wouldn’t normally see in a mainstream comic strip, without actually showing it.

Is this a new cartoon strip you’re working on? Older material? Or just random ideas you’re putting down on paper? I’d love to see your work in the funny pages again!
When Spot ended, The Naked Guy was one of several strips I doodled out, thinking that if one strip ended, another had to begin. I have a few dozen Naked Guy dailies. I bring them out on occasion to see how they strike me; if I can imagine myself drawing the same characters for umpity-ump years. Or not drawing, in the case of the invisible man.
